Silent Hill: Homecoming

Published by k000 at 6:31 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

So if you’re a fan of the Silent Hill franchise, you were probably sitting there giddy like I was- when you heard that we were finally going to get another Silent Hill that is actually in Silent Hill. We all know The Room was a total failure in comparison to the others. Homecoming promises new environmental changes- such as bumping into a table and it alerting the creepy crawlers, that should be interesting, considering the fact that there has been a lack of threatening enemies since Pyramid Head. Speaking of which, many are already starting to create comparisons with Silent Hill 2- whether they think the story is going to be similar (Switch out your wife with a missing brother) or they think the characters look a like (They don’t). Truly, I don’t mind- I loved Silent Hill 2 and so if Homecoming is just Silent Hill 2.5- I will still welcome it with loving open arms. Oo! Oo! Also, we must not forget that finally! For the first time ever, the main character knows a little bit about ass whooping, seeing as he is an army man- Alex Sheperd! No more little wusses running around trying to fend off monsters- we finally get a character that is fit and hopefully runs faster than the other two. Still, there is some waiting in store for us- the game will be released in the fall and we will see what new things the new Silent Hill team has brought for us Silent Hill fans. Hopefully not another repetitive room.
